Wow! This should be fun!
As I extend a few words of welcome to fellow bloggers and participators in the world of What Matters, I would like to consider a few ground rules for this site. Yeah, right! We’ll see!
After lurking around the blog world for some time, I decided I wanted to do this thing. I wanted to be a part of the community that is experimenting with life. Meaning? Well, I’d like to quote Ernest Hemingway who said, “How simple the writing of literature would be if it were only necessary to write in another way what has been well written.” Nah, I think new words need to be written!
My invitation is to join me and look at what matters from the point of view of what we are not noticing, what we hold as beliefs of what matters, and what we would say about what matters if we were to do the choosing rather than accept the chosen.
I may wander off a bit as I learn the ins and outs of this whole blogging experience, checking side bars, trying to insert pertinent graphics, and linking to other fabulous conversationalists.
Took me three days to get this site up and running as it now looks, so Blogging for Dummies is my bedside read!
You know, lots of things are valid and interesting. And some of them can alter a life. That’s where the juice is!
And, a wise person once said that we must defend our perspective today as if our lives depended on it, and tomorrow we may drop that perspective in favor of a new one and defend it in the same manner. And we must be free to do so at our will.
Life is moving pretty quickly and being restricted in how we sample it just makes it a bore!
